Peter Faris is a spectrum expert at the European Communications Office (ECO), the permanent office of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His role involves providing technical expertise on spectrum management issues across different communications sectors including sharing and compatibility studies, and development of the SEAMCAT tool which is run and maintained by the ECO. Peter joined the ECO in January 2016. He previously worked in spectrum policy for Ofcom, the UK’s communication regulator, from 2008 to 2015. He graduated from the University of Bristol with an MEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering in 2008.
